New addition to the wedding

      So my mini "VACATION" in Cali has been going great so far! Lots to do and even more to decide on. I got here on tuesday and each day has been something new and exciting. So tuesday we went on the George Lopez show.... I know it had nothing to do with the wedding but I had a great time. Then wednesday we got our hair done in the morning. Then I went to our yatch and we had the tasting. It was yummy but we didnt get to tasted everyhting, there are too many choices! We had a great time, just the girls, laguhing and eating the whole time. I love spending time with mom and Jenn!

The next day we moved on to flowers at Flowers by appointment in downtown LA in the flowermart. The guy was amazing! I loved going in he was so cute and gave great ideas! I cant wait for you all to see the set up the day of! We then went onto cake testing. I was so excited becasue of the whole I get to eat all the different types of cakes thing! Then we got there..... disappointing. The flower experiance that was so amazing and then the lame cake. It was just sad beacsue she told me what I wanted was going to be $1500 extra.... R U KIDDING?! And that was on top of the free cake we were supposed to recieve so probably like 2000 for the whole thing. REDICULOUS! We picked something that I am fairly happy with but it was just so mch simpler then I wanted. But it will be pretty I think.

      After that we went to grandma's house. You know she is an amazing person, but man is she an amazing cook! Everytime I come into town she makes us chicken wings, my favorite! And we have grandma bread... YUM. But, before dinner tonight I asked grandma what she wore at her wedding and she told us she still had it. We had a blast, we pulled it out and marveled at it. I love old beautiful things. After dinner Jenn tried it on. Can you beleive grandma was as tiny as Jenn?!

DRESSES, dresses and more dresses

I was looking at the Knot today and I was so happy! I found some great dresses in the $-$$ dollar range- whatever that means. What do you guys think? I love them all so much!

Tears of Joy packets DONE!

I finally finished! Some even have the tissues in them but I need to buy some more. They turned out soo good I think! They are exactly what I wanted and will make a cute addition to the decor at the wedding! You know, just in case of tears! I'll make sure I slip Ty one, you know hes a big baby!

AMAZING FINDS!

      SO I have been googeling damask frames, black frames, baroque frames and everything in between but all of them that have popped up have been crazy expensive. So today we went to Hobby Lobby and Marshells and found these amazing frames! Now I have 3  frames and one that is like a mat with the black border.

I feel in love. The question is now what do I do with them? Should I get more and put one at each table with a pic of Ty and me with the table numbers? Should I just stick these by our sign in book with pictures of us? IDEAS?!

Tears of Joy packets

So today I made the plunge! I bought the glassine envelopes about 3 inched by 4 inches to see if I could do my first DIY project. I just now ordered them off of ebay and I got the damask wrapping paper from Micheals because I couldn't find scrapbook paper anywhere that was cheap enough! So now I wait for 4-7 business days and see when they come my way! I was thinking they would read....

NEW FINDS!!!! AHHHHH!

So today I was doing some leisurely shopping- mostly looking with my fiance on my last day of summer vacation and what should I find at Tj Maxx?!
WEDDING SHOES! ahhh they are soooooo perfect and they are the exact shade of purple I am going for. Now you cant quite see in the picture but think of it as if purple and pink had a baby! Amazing I am and forever will be a maxxinista! Now imagine if you will how amazingly amazing these would look with this twigs and honey hair piece I want to get? I am come on guys how excited are you?! This was an incredible wedding day people(might I add it takes very little to get me excited), hopefully there are many more to come! :)

Decisions-Decisions, here's what we know

So I needed to make this block to write about all my choices and have a documentation of the hours and house I spend googling the heck out of everything that has to do with weddings. If I don't post it, does it really happen?lets start small on some of the thigns we know for sure....

• Groom- Ty
• Location- Los Angeles area- Marina Del Rey to be exact

Besides that we are in the thinking and re working and pondering process. Here are some DIY projects I am considering

• Tears of Joy tissues packets
• Flowers? Anything over what is included in the package
• Birdcage card holder- I bought a small one in white and I was going to spray paint it but Ive seen such cuter ones!
• Place-cards
  
• Table numbers

and more to come I'm sure but these are itching for my to tackle so tomorrow I think I will order the envelopes to make the tears of joy packets. I am still looking for a place to order damask scrapbook paper for less then .50 per sheet.. message me with any info!
